ofstedThe September 2011 The Woodroffe School was judged as Oustanding by Ofsted. More recently we were congratulated for our 'very high standard of achievement in the English Baccalaureate in 2015'.

We were a local winner in the key stage 4 category of the Pupil Premium Awards 2016. The reason for this award is that we were one of the most improved schools in the country in terms of the attainment and value added progress of our disadvantaged pupils since 2012. Also, an above average percentage of our disadvantaged pupils achieved the EBacc in 2015.

The sixth form is part of an 11-19 experience in the school and is integral to the school ethos.
