Film Making

A group of students and staff from The Woodroffe School ran a number of Film Making Workshop with experienced film Maker Julian Owen.

During one of the Workshops Julian worked with the students and staff for a week long Film Making project where he helped them make the transition from iMovie to Final Cut Pro.

Staff at Woodroffe were also given the opportunity to receive additional tuition from Julian as part of the Creative Partnership Project and were able to run the filming of the Project unaided.

As a result of the Creative Partnership Project, students from The Woodroffe School, five of its feeder Primary Schools and Mountjoy School gathered in the Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis to watch the result of creating ‘Something out of Nothing’ – a film produced around the Project and the students results.
