It has been another busy year for students doing their Arts Award, with record numbers waiting to submit their portfolios next week for moderation.

Here is just a flavour of what has been happening just in this last term:

Caitlin ran a successful art club at Perrott Hill School. She worked with the children for six after school sessions making puppets for a final performance.

Lotte spent a day in the holidays at Otters Cildcare Centre teaching a variety of craft activities.

Alice, Anna and Isobel ran a lunchtime club for Year 7 and 8 students making props for Bugsy.

Libby and Katie ran a lunchtime art club for Year 7.

Danni organised an art, cooking and craft day for a group of her sister’s friends.

Hannah has been working with local Artist, Hugh Dunford Wood learning to make handmade wallpaper as part of her Gold Arts Award.

Sophie and Iona decided to do their leadership workshop in Lyme Regis Museum. They organised activities for a drop in family fun day with a dinosaur theme. They made small models out of card which the children could assemble, decorate and take home.
