Dear parents, carers and friends of The Woodroffe School, thank you for taking the time to read through our latest edition of Rough Notes.
We have enjoyed a very positive start to the school year and I can’t quite believe that we have made it to the half-term break already. How time flies when you are working hard and having fun along the way.
In this edition of Rough Notes you will find lots of examples of the opportunities that have been offered to our students recently, provided by our welcoming, supportive and dedicated staff. Articles included cover; Year 11 DofE final expeditions, Year 12 and 13 visit to the Mary Rose, Year 7 Meet My Tutor and a comprehensive sports round up.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our parents and carers for their support this half term. Attendance at both parents’ evenings has been very strong and the feedback provided through questionnaires has been very positive. Following comments made at both events to date, we will be providing opportunities for all parents and carers to give feedback at the remaining parents’ evenings this year. Please take the time to complete these as your feedback is both appreciated and welcomed.
