Year 7 Dorset Explorer

The end of June signalled our annual humanities trip to two exciting locations with Year 7. This was Maiden Castle (the largest earth fort in Europe), and Lulworth Cove, home to the famous Lulworth Crumple! This is an excellent chance for Year 7 to see and understand two very different but equally important sites in Dorset. But even the best laid plans come unstuck when man-hole covers collapse on the main road and the coaches break down. But despite these hiccups the students were fantastically behaved and showed a real interest in the sites they saw so a big well done to the year group. Many more trips await them.

A big thank you also to the humanities staff who dealt with a couple of tricky situations in the usual Woodroffe efficient manner!
