Year 12 have just returned from Leeson House where we spent three days studying Geographical concepts such as urban rebranding in Boscombe, local hydrology near Swanage and coastal processes on Chesil Beach. The students worked incredibly and were surprised to see how much fun doing statistical test at half past eight in the evening actually was!
This fieldwork experience has allowed them to prepare for their NEA (Non Examined Assessments) which makes up 20% of their final A Level mark. Now they will work independently up until the January deadline on what are shaping up to be some excellent projects based in Lyme Regis, Exeter, Chard and London.
