Just before the end of term, the Year 10 Graphic students travelled to London to visit a number of prestigious art galleries and exhibitions, so that they could see first-hand some contemporary and historical master pieces in preparation for their new GCSE Graphics coursework project – Order and/or Disorder.
The visit, in fact, proved very timely; President Trump was in the UK and protest marches were taking place across the capital. Although when the trip was originally planned, Mr Vine and his team had no idea these demonstrations were being arranged, it did give the students an unexpected insight into democracy.
”All of the group once again, behaved impeccably, as did the protestors I am pleased to say. It was another fantastic trip made enjoyable by the maturity and attitude of our students. I know the other members of the staff on the trip also had a great time, so thank you Year 10 for being a pleasure to take away.”
