At the Woodroffe School we see the need to build greater challenge into lessons as one of our core roles. To that end our Challenge Coordinators work with both staff and students on ways to do this.
The Challenge Coordinator team is made up of staff drawn from a range of subjects (English, Geography, History, Music and Psychology) and is currently running a range of projects across the school.
Essential to delivering greater challenge in our teaching is the need to build student resilience, so that when confronted with a difficult problem or when making a mistake students have the confidence to try again or try a new approach.
