Minutes:County Pupil CouncilMeet once a term at different locations throughout Dorset. County Pupil Council News On Monday 8th December, Mrs Bowskill and Basher Merrett travelled to Kingston Maurward to attend a Dorset County School Council Meeting to discuss bullying, Youtube, Playground Safety, out of school activities and a whole lot more… There were lots of Pyramids and schools from different age groups, from Year 3 to Year 13s. We split into 3 groups: Adults, Secondary and Primary Schools. We had to vote for the chair and who would lead the meetings. After a long day of bringing brilliant ideas to the discussions and sharing them, we said a tired goodbye and returned home trying to remember all the ideas that could help solve our Pyramid’s problems. Basher Merrett Report from County Forum meeting First we were introduced to the people and the chairmen of varies things, and then we talked about sustainability issues about the environment and how we can help. We then split up in groups we were all talking about what we can do to help the environment. We then had a break for a snack and a drink. we Came back in for another meeting this time we split up in to three groups one to talk about transport another to talk about media and last but not least to talk about bullying. After that we had a great lunch with sandwiches and crisps and a variety of different fruit. We then did some presentations what we did in the three groups. After that we talked about road safety and lots of other complex stuff. After that we all went back home. Felix
